HRider Posted March 27, 2009 Share Posted March 27, 2009 My wife shoots on occasion with me, mostly when I go to the range to practice. Although I feel like she would do well, she will not shoot a match, even though we have ladies in our club that shoot regularly. She has tried a Berretta 92 and it just wasn't for her. She has always liked DA revolvers and felt the most comfortable with them. I finally talked her into shooting my Colt 1911 that I shoot L10 with. She thought it was like cheating. She loves it. I put a Kimber 5" classic custom in her hand and she likes it as well. Last time we went, I set her up with a Glock 17 and gear. She shot it well, and really likes it. Maybe someday I can finally talk her into shooting a match with me. Be patient with her and try to let her shoot as many guns as you can.
