By coincidence I found these mag pads on Cz’s web shop. It might be the solution to our mag.cap/ good quality pad problems. At least I don’t know of anyone who makes a good mag. extension/pad for these guns anymore. These might fit, but I don’t believe it before I have the answer from the CZ web shop, I have sent them a mail.

If it helps, an American company CPMI also make mag pads for the small frame Tanfog/Witness.

I have been using these mag pads on my CZ85 and small frame Tanfog (when I had one) for years and they are awesome.

CPMI does not manufacturer nor sell the pads anymore, even though they still show up on their site.

I tried the cz-usa site, seems to be down.

I've got two small frame guns now so I will be making pads for these guns.

Here's what I've got in mind:

1) a maximized 141 pad which will be good for 40S&W limited, but also 9mm open.

2) a 171 pad which will be for 9mm open, but also to put a nice short pad for short mags for anything.

Otherwise, any special requests?

so the 171 will attach to the Tanfoglio/EAA small frame 25 round magazine? and not make it too long?

Springs for the "longer" 16 and 25 round mags? Followers? I've tried your Grams guts from the large frame mags in the small frame mags. They just won't feed reliably as the presentation angle of the follower/the way the spring makes it sit, just doesn't work in these small frame mags. Winds up nosediving

Question? Will the 141 pad get the full space in the ipsc box for the small frame combat in .40 cal? I can only get 12 rounds on mine right now. Will this pad give me 2-3 more .40 cal rounds?

To maximize the capacity you need to modify the follower in the magazine. See my post under!! If you do this, I guess even 16-17 is within reach. I get 15 in mine with a short IPSC legal pad. (Standard division)

….you don’t have to be this extreme. By just cutting 1/3 of the legs you get 14 with a small pad. (tanfo org.)
