Wanted
I had some 185 gr. Speer JFN, that I picked up from a guy. I just got around to loading them. I tried a few loads but this one was the most accurate. I don't have a crono. so I don't know anything beyond that. But I was shooting good groups with it. 185gr. Speer JFN 5.3 grns. Wanted
Keep in mind I havn't been reloading very long. I shot a 1.5" group of 5 shots at 25'. What is "minor and "major" I've seen the term used here.
mda
What is "minor and "major" I've seen the term used here. This is a referance to Power factor. In USPSA some divisions allow use of guns with different power factors and targets scoring zones have different values based on power factor. Power factor is caculated as: PF=bullet weight (in grains) X velocity (fps avg of 3) / 1000. Minor Power factor is 125 to 165 Major Power factor is 165 and over. Wanted
Thanks for the info. It's funny I was googling ti up when you responded. I was reading how PF started being calculated by shooting a steel plate and measuring the travel distance. I know the load I posted is nothing spectacular. Just trying to make conversation.
