Ridgerunnr
Is there a particular bullet shape that I should stay with or away from when loading for the Limited? round nose, Flat nose etc?? Looking at the Precision lead 185's RN but also found some nice Jacketed but they are Flat nose
BritinUSA
Round Nose works best for all Tanfoglio Open/Limited guns.
sinnsyk
For Limited 40, I use and love Zero 180's. They are Flat Nose and feed perfect. Also shot other bullets and the feeding is more depending on the brass/sizing than the bullet shape. For 40 and 180's you're gonna mostly find Flat Nose. Round Nose aren't as common and not necessary. For 38 super/9mm I would only recommend Round Nose as Paul says. For 100% accuracy, the Hornady 121 HAP are phenomenal. I've shot 1.7" groups at 50 yards off sand bags with my open guns. RN bullets typically don't shoot as good, but the Zero 356 125s are very accurate, feed great and they are my current favorite. Last year I got my bullets from PowderValley.com which had good prices and at the time they were in stock. Not sure what the situation is at the moment. LeoHallak
Round nose in Open like they have said above. In my limited 40 I never had a problem with Zero 180 JHP's leo
heckle
last time I checked powder valley was all out of the zero flat points, I have also been running the zero 180gn JHP and have had good luck with them
mike_pinto
I have ran MG 180CMJ, Extreme 180TC, and now run Zero 180JHP's. They all cycle perfect and if the dummy behind the trigger does his job, they all shoot fine too.
