tjgmba
Can any of you folks tell me whether the attached photo of the top of a slide of a Glock 34 (altered, I think) is legal for IDPA shooting? I want to buy this, but I want to use it for both IDPA and USPSA. Possible? Thanks a bunch; I'm new here and I've been pouring over all your words for the past week. Have learned a universe of info I never new. Tom Grady
Cy Soto
That's not altered; that is how the G34 slide looks.
Wideload
That looks like an aftermarket sight - no alteration to the slide itself.
Calmwater
34s have that cut in to make the slide weight the same as that of the 17 so Glock can use the same guide rod/spring assembly.
astephenson
That's a stock G34 (with aftermarket sights, of course), which just so happens to be a fantastic gun for IDPA SSP and USPSA Production.
