Mikej
Is there a S&W in 22 that has a trigger pull close to the 625? I want to have a plinker that will also give me some trigger control practice. Thanks
chemepharmd
Hi Mike, The favorite .22 here is the 10-shot model 617. Unfortunately, you cannot lighten the trigger pull very much without having failures-to-fire. The good news is that a good action job can make a 617 feel pretty good, though, and those DS-10's are very nice.
Mikej
Thanks Gregg. Is that the one you showed me at the range last Sat? That was a nice gun, especially with the loaders you had.

Yes, that was it. Mine hasn't had an action job yet because I've never done one and am reluctant to risk messing something up. DS-10 is a member of this forum and very good to deal with. I can't remember the thread, but one of the guys on here (41mag, I think) has a video of him practicing with DS-10's. He's pretty fast with them, too. cas
On the other hand... a practice gun with a heavier trigger pull isn't necessarily a bad thing. Sort of like swinging two bats on the on deck circle.
Mikej
I like that analogy.
Rover
Relative to tuning the .22 S&W there were some strings on this some time back: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...p;p=346926& http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=52448
