loose fiber optic

Super glue.

I second the super glue. When I decided to try green fiber instead of red I had to cut and drive out the pieces of the old red fiber. Just try not to get the super glue all over the sight and fiber like I do. It cuts down on the light transfer.

I would avoid the glue. It is messy and makes changing the fiber harder. When you fit the fiber, be sure you get it good and tight. If you do not get it tight, it will come loose and fall out. Try not to over heat the fiber with the flame. If you do, the fiber might become brittle. Try not to hit your sight on ports either (don't ask me how I know that).

Good Luck

Sometimes I make things more difficult than they are. Armed with the suggestions here and the instructions kindly posted on the Brazos website, it took me all of about 3 minutes to replace the fiber optic element in my front sight. 2 minutes of that was looking at it to be sure it really was that simple.

Thanks for the advice, guys!
