riden Posted July 13, 2003 Share Posted July 13, 2003 Start 'er out with reloaded Major...it's made for it! Run OAL's in the 1.245-1.255 range. Factory recoil spring will likely be 10-lb., so you might want to place a shock buff on the rod to see how it works. Once you get used to the gun a bit, try going to an 8-lb. spring along with the buff, but will depend on how much recoil you want coming back into your hand and then where the dot ends up once the slide goes home...watch to see how much dot movement you have.
