EricW
If you're not finding any data, the powder may not be compatible with 9mm.
ErikW
Yeah, what's the exact name of that powder? BTW, I deleted your duplicate post in the other forum. One is enough and this is the appropriate forum.
joey2273
it just says "aa plus" on the can so i experimented a bit and came up with 4.7 works well took the aa #9 load i had reduced slightly and tried it
ErikW
Holy shit, man. You mean it's AA as in Accurate Arms? Or AA as in the brand-name of Winchester-branded products produced by Olin Corp.? C'mon, it doesn't just say "aa plus" on the can. It probably says a hell of a lot more. Help us out and we'll help you out.
joey2273
its aa as in winchester and is just says aa in a square and plus right next to it
Flexmoney
Sounds like one to call the company that makes it and ask them about the powder. They are usually super helpful. No need to guess.
ErikW
OK, now we're getting somewhere. According to one burn rate chart, AA Plus is right behind Clays, N320, and Titewad. AA#9 is way, way, slower, among the slowest pistol powders. Based on that alone, using AA#9 load data would be a huge mistake. Winchester shows AA Plus is primarily a shotgun powder. Their manual has no 9mm loads for AA Plus. In fact, it has no pistol loads whatsoever for that powder. You can download their reloading manual in PDF form. (Don't confuse WAP with WAAP in their data. WAP is Winchester Action Pistol.) I suggest you give or sell the powder to a person who reloads shotgun shells.
