aftermarket grip safeties

Does anyone make an aftermarket beavertail that fits a factory cut Kimber or Springfield Armory frame (no mods necessary)? I don't recall seeing any, but it is hard to keep up with all the stuff out there on the market.

If your Kimber has an Israeli frame you could use the BullM5 one. If you are talking singlestack, I honestly do not know.

For the Springfield with the .220 radius, Smith and Alexander makes a { little mods might be needed } beavertail.

I think the Kimber frame is a .250 radius. I think Ed Brown has one with a .250 radius (may require minor fitting).

I recently put an Ed Brown grip safety on a Kimber and it didn't require much fitting to be functional but it required quite a bit of metal removal to blend it in and make all the lines match up between the GS and frame.

brownells sells the Smith and Alexander grip safety with the radius for the springfield

I would guess they make one that fits the kimber single stack guns too

I am 99% certain that the Kimber magwell from the custom shop is a SA magwell, so I'd bet they sell a grip safety that fits Kimbers as well
