bountyhunter
The Santa Cruz mountains are on fire AGAIN.... it was just burning last week. The freak heat is back.... Monday it was forecast for 82 and it got up to 97 here that day, it "only" got up to about 95 today. The humidity is in the 5 - 10% range today, and satan's winds are blowing 30 - 40 MPH straight offshore making it hotter and dryer. At this moment, we have four large major wildfires burning in Kali. The air is filthy, the warnings are out, and it seems like it will never end. This is going to be the worst year ever. bountyhunter
Friday the wind turned around and gradually a smoke trail about 50 miles long and 20 miles wide covered us coming up and over the santa Cruz mountains stretching to the horizon blotting out the sun. It was so bizarre, because it turned the whole world an orange hue I have never seen even in LA smog. Next morning we were sweeping the ash off everything that was outside. kali is still burning. All of the reservoirs are at about 40% capacity. We sure could use some of you guys rain.
