The Bush admin is making this a high profile crisis to humiliate the government they don't like, and the government they don't like has to respond with a hard line position to show they aren't intimidated. Maybe they should just stretch them out and measure...... Anyway, I only wish the Bush adnmin had been this obsessed with bringing in aid when my relatives got steamrollered by Hurricane katrina.
