megaman Posted June 6, 2003 Share Posted June 6, 2003 ah, another 6" 40 cal shooter! i also recently picked up a modified eagle 6.0 and chronoed a bunch of factory loads and some hand loads to see what my megabuster would like. ammo bullet OAL ave PF/10 rounds -------------------------------------------------------------------------- fed AE 180 gr fmj ~1.127 178.6 win white bx 180 gr fmj ~1.130 178.3 winclean 165 gr beb ~1.119 180.8 win sxt 180 gr sxt ~1.130 176.5 i use 180 gr rem fmj's, winchester brass, federal 205 small rifle primers, and 4.8 gr of titegroup with a oal of 1.200 with a 10 round pf ave of 170.6. i hope this helps. My scores went up 15% when I shot Lim10 with Wakal's 6" Benny Gun and that load. Of course, it was supposed to be my gun, but now I have my own Benny Gun and what a pretty thing it is, too!!!
