Buckeye
I would like to buy a set of dies for my single stage reloader. Should I buy Lee, Redding, ??? Natchez has the Lee carbide set with the factory sizer die on sale? Should I buy it or go with a different brand? Any suggestions? Thanks.
wide45
They are all good. The Lee usually includes the shellholder, so ya got that going for ya.
BrianH
I was always partial to RCBS, but they DON'T include the shellholder...and that sucks....
Flexmoney
Seems like everybody makes decent dies (big name brands anyway). I have the Lee sets and like them (including the FCD made it an easy choice for the money).
TBF
Another vote for the Lee, I really like the factory crimp die. If you buy another brand, I'd still add a Lee factory crimp die. Just my .02 Travis F.
texasag93
I own Lee, RCBS, Hornady, and Forster dies. I like them all. Another vote for whatever you buy add the Lee factory crimp die. It really takes any swells or bulges out of your loads for reliable feeding. Critical for IPSC.
