Fit an adjustable sight on my stainless II?

I have a kimber stainless II with the factory combat sights, but I would prefer an adjustable target type rear, and a fiber optic front.

I was told the slide would have to be milled to fit a rear target site.

Can I do this sort of thing with hand tools?

Any ideas?

thanks,

kyle

I am using a Kimber Custom Classic for SS. I have an EGW FO front, and an MMC adjustable rear. I like both. The EGW will take a little fitting, and I drilled the front sight all the way through. The MMC should drop in.

The MMC might be different than you are looking for, but it might be worth a try.

Dawson offers adjustable rear sights for factory kimbers with non adjustable rears. I have their set on my series one. Give them a call and they will set you up with the correct set.
