vrmn1
Has anyone had a recessed cylinder moon clipped? Did they just machine away the recessed part or did they recess the recess?

vrmn1
I can do it either way, I am just wondering how others do it. I am a machinist and I have cut unrecessed cylinders but I have never seen a recessed cylinder that has been moon clipped so I don't know how they are done. Tom Revo
Has anyone had a recessed cylinder moon clipped?Did they just machine away the recessed part or did they recess the recess? Yes, it can be done. Just have to remove more metal to get down to the area where the cartridge head spaces. Tom
