frame weight

I am sure that someone on here has drug out the fish scale on this one. What is the actual weight difference in ounces of an S_I standard length dustcover frame v/s a long heavy one? Also, what does a Caspian high cap frame weigh?

Where's Howard when we need him? I know he's got a Capsian hi-cap frame and STI short dust covers frames. I know that the Capsian is heavier by a couple of ounces, but don't know an exact figure. R,

My Infinity standard length { .830 wide } frame with grip and main spring housing { para cut, no trigger } weighs 278.46 grams { 9.8222 oz. }. Gary Smith from Caspian told me the Hi Cap frame weighed 15.6 oz. and the Hi Cap Recon frame weighed 17.3 oz.

Don't have a Caspian, but my long wide STI frame is 3 ounces heavier than my standard STI frame.

STI slide Classic vs. Unique - 0.4 oz. difference

STI standard frame 10.4 oz

STI short wide frame 11.4 oz.

STI Long wide 13.0 oz.

Slides measured were completely bare no serrations no other cuts.

Frames measured were complete frame/grip assembly with no frame cut.

SV and Caspian numbers will vary slightly but not much.
