COF ideas

New SO, lots of ideas. Maybe one or two that are good, feel free to critique. :)

1. Trash Alley.

You're in a place with very unsure footing when the bad guys appear to your side.

Start Position. There are 3 pieces of carpet, 6"x12" placed at the start position. Carpet pieces are placed in a right triangle so that the right angle piece is closest to the targets, and the other two are at 18" distance center to center. Carpet pieces are placed perpendicular to the targets. Shooter must place one foot on the piece closest to the targets, and places the other foot on either of the other two. During the COF no part of the foot may touch the ground outside of the carpet, and Shooters foot may not move to another carpet piece.

Shooter starts facing perpendicular to the targets. At the buzzer, draw and engage targets T1-T2, 2 Body 1 Head. Targets should be placed at least 6 feet apart at 10 yards distance.

Purpose. Test Shooter's ability to shoot to the side. Shooter may put either strond or weak side towards targets, and may either stay flat footed or use the balls of the feet to twist easier.

2. What's a nice person like you doing leaving a place like this?

You're in a small shop when someone shoulders in past a leaving customer and decides to rob everyone.

Start Position. Shooter begins facing uprange, holding a credit card sized piece of plastic in strong hand between the thumb and first finger. At the buzzer, engage T1 with 2 body and 1 head. There is a Non-Threat BEHIND the Threat so that one half of a side of the threat is "covered" by a shoot through on the threat. T1 is at 15 yards.

Purpose. Test's Shooters ability to draw when strong hand is engaged, and their confidence in estimating target areas. Shooter does not need to retain the credit card and may turn as they see fit.
