Chuck Anderson
I've been trying the ICORE website for the last month or two without success. Am I missing something or has it been down. The site that I'm trying is www.icore.org. Is there a new site?

Waltermitty
Maybe your computer has it blocked? Or vice-versa???
Chuck Anderson
Don't know, I don't think I've ever been to the site before. Not sure why it would be blocked or how to fix it.
Waltermitty
Don't know, I don't think I've ever been to the site before. Not sure why it would be blocked or how to fix it. If you're going through a computer at work sometimes an IT department will block some weird stuff. I don't know if the page requires that you accept cookies before it will display. Some websites won't work if you block all cookies. If you're using Internet Explorer, look under Tools > Internet Oprions > Privacy > Sites and see if the ICORE site is listed. It's possible your ISP has been blocked for some reason by ICORE if they get a lot of problems for them.
Chuck Anderson
Nope, nothing was listed, the security is only set at medium, and I'm using Verizon FIOS which is pretty much the main ISP in Oregon. Dunno what's up. I must have Gremlins in the computer.
HoMiE
Something is up with Verizons name servers. You could try using a public name server setup in your router/gateway configuration. Or add this to your hosts file if using Windows 69.36.182.28 www.icore.org Edited December 29, 2007 by HoMiE
