Hi-Power Jack
I'm currently shooting a stock Browning Hi-Power - which is pretty nice, but I don't get super accuracy from it - maybe 3" groups at 15 yards with Remington factory ammo. I'm wondering if anyone has tried using oversized lead bullets, like lightweight .357's to improve accuracy? If so, any suggestions on starting loads for WW231 powder? Thanks, New Kid on the Block Jack
RePete
BEFORE you start loading oversized bullets, slug the barrel first.
Carlos
Welcome Jack. No need to jump right to the .357s. There are many makers of .356 bullets that are commonly used in guns chambered for 9x19mm or 9mm Luger. Agree that slugging the bore will reveal the actual diameter. Fozzy357
I had a hard time getting the precision I needed in my Pardini GT9-6 until I loaded a .357 143 grain copper plated bullet over 3,5 grains of VV 340. Average velocity is 918fps. Now all is well
