bthp
I would like to build a hi cap SVI, but I have heard that the .40 S&W version doesn't feed factory ammo so well. I was told that they are better served for those that "load long." Is there any truth to this and if so, are there any tips to building one to work around this issue? I don't handload and I would like to shoot hollow points through it as well.
Rob Boudrie
Precision Delta makes a "long loaded" 40 specifically for SxI and Para guns.
Derek45
I load my STI EDGE long, but I've run winchester white box and Remington golden sabers thru it with 100% reliability.
Kingman
Most will run with factory ammo just fine. Many previous threads on this subject.
STInky
My Dawson-tuned EDGE has never shot anything but Remington factory ammo.......Not an issue here.
G-ManBart
I don't have an SVI, but my Dawson tuned Edge ran 100% with factory ammo to include Winchester white box and a couple of others.
