Eastern Lakes section covers most of NY. Websight is here;

Metro East section may be accessible, but I can't find a schedule posted.

Going back to Eastern Lakes, we have the schedule here;

http://www.uspsa7.org/els/2007schedule.htm

You have match's on the 6th at Watervliet Practical Shooters, and Genesee Conservation League.

Matches on the 7th are at Square Deal Practical Shooters, and North Country Practical Pistol League.

Watervliet is the closest club to Albany, unfortunately I don't know how active they are. Best bet is to call the contact listed on the Schedule page.

If you are willing to drive, I can recommend Square Deal Practical Shooters on Sunday. I'd guess something like 3 hours from Albany. Have not been there in a few years, but they put on a good match.

I will be at Genesee Conservation League, Saturday. They put on some great matches, but you are looking at a 5 hour drive from Albany.

Do your homework if you plan to bring a gun into NY. It is legal to do so for the purpose of shooting an USPSA match, but you need documentation, and you only have a 48 hour window before, and after. I'm not up on the letter of the law, but it is not hard to learn the requirements.

Here is the letter sent to out of state competitors for last months 3-gun at Rochester Brooks.

You would need a similar letter.

If you get in touch with the club contact, there is a good chance you can borrow gear. Should you decide to come to the match at Genesee Conservation League, I may be able to arrange something like what you usually use.

Watervliet Practical Shooters do have a match on Saturday Oct 6....start time is 1030am

You can find the updated Match Schedule for WPS at the host club website.

http://www.wfgpa.org/

If you e-mail one of club contacts, I believe that they can send you an e-mail that

can be used as an invitation letter. I have been told that you can print out a match

schedule that would consitute an invite letter, but I cannot confirm it, so don't take

my word on that option.

See you there.......
