Ron Brooks
A question. I have a Colt 22 conversion and am wanting to mount it on a dedicated frame. Should I just get the cheapest one I can or would it be worth the money to get a really nice one? I am leaning towards a ncer one, say Caspian, but don't want to spend more than I have to just to spend it. Suggestions will be greatly appreciated. TonyT
I have used the Marvel and Jarvis 22 conversion units on an a very old and refinished 1911 or Norinco frames. The choice of frame does not appear to be a critical factor with these two units.
Kingman
Depends on what you are using it for. I have one set up on an STI frame bacause I want to simulate my open gun as close as possible. Otherwise I would not worry about the frame much. Most are within spec enough it won't matter.
