Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. No, I used to, but quit it a while back. I've just been using plain Lizard Litter. Ron
  2. In the thread "I am Killing Dies" it is mentioned that dirty media can cause, well, ruined dies. Okay so how do you tell when it is too dirty? Now I have been using plain Lizaard Litter and always run something in it to absorb the dust, be it strips of dryer sheets, paper towels, or what have you. I have just been tending to throw out my media when, well, the mood strikes me. Oh, I do tumble range picups but I clean the cases up of mud and such before tumbling them. Any tips on when I should be tossing the media? Thanks, Ron
  3. It's just that you don't like Mr. Muggles. Nay, she is probably sup[posed to be sort of wierd, you can't have your memory erased as often as her's was without some sideeffects. Ron
  4. AHA!!, thank you. I keep looking under the reloading components.
  5. Say, I looked for this Guatemalan brass at Widener's and couldn't find it, at least listed as such. Is it listed as the once fired? Any one here know? Thanks Ron
  6. A question. I have a Colt 22 conversion and am wanting to mount it on a dedicated frame. Should I just get the cheapest one I can or would it be worth the money to get a really nice one? I am leaning towards a ncer one, say Caspian, but don't want to spend more than I have to just to spend it. Suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
  7. Did you hear that they were going to move Texas A & M to Oklahoma? They figured it would raise the IQ of both states by 50 points.
  8. As long as the container is unopend and the powder looks and smells good I would use it. Be very leery of opend cans of powder, you never know FOR SURE if the powdere in the cannister is what the label on it says.
  9. Are you looking for a "ready to go out of the box" competion piece or a foundation to build one on?
  10. Well, I'm sure this isn't what you wanted to hear, but I would tumble them in plain ground walnut to be sure they wwere clean, then just go ahead and reload them. Running them through the reloading process and then shooting them will do a lot toward getting the patina off them. You'll be surprised how much more they will polish up afterwards. Ron
  11. After a reloading session I use the primer follower rod to push a couple of alchol wipes through the primer magazine. I've only done this with the large primer magazine, but it sure works at picking up a lot of priming dust and I feel it is well worth the trouble to keep dwn the risk of an AD. Ron
