10ring
I have the oppurtunity to pick up a used limited gun which was built with a tungsten sleeved barrel to help add weight up front. I'm a bit concerned with the sleeve potentialy coming loose or displaced. Do any of you have experience with this type of set up?
Jon Merricks
What brand barrel? If it's pinned that 's possible. But if it's threaded and loc tite you should not have any problems.
Austin Hemphill
10ring, like Jon said, if it is threaded like a limcat, you should have no problems. I have heard of other brands causing problems. If you want a very soft shooting gun, then the tungsten barrel is for you.
10ring
I found out more about this barrel and it is a turned down Schueman with a Tg sleeve threaded onto the barrel with a little lock-tight for good measure. Sounds like it's good to go.
