shotgun technique

Recommended Posts

I just picked up a shotgun... been trying out different stances, seeing which controlled recoil the best, Unfortunately I am new to Shotguns, so I have no idea if I am going in the right direction.

No need to comment on the reload  I can see it needs alot of work. But it was one of my first ones

Thanks for the help

If you are going to be shooting an open shotgun you might want to consider getting rid of the pistol grip stock.

Start out in the stance u are going to be shooting from.Think of it like drawing ur pistol, the only thing u want moving are your arms.your recoil control was not bad though.

when mounting the shotgun dont come straight up.swing the shotgun out slightly ,almost in a semi circle,so u can catch the pocket of ur shoulder and not get it caught in ur shirt.
