Nik Habicht
Kevin, my loads have to pass this test: Load 10+1, fire weakhand with a marginal grip. If the gun cycles repeatedly when doing this, always topping off to 10+1, then it'll work in any situation.....
Joe D
Have you run your loads across a chrono? I have never seen any "bolt over" issues with a Glock. There is something else going on here. I think it is a combination of limp wrist and low power factor for the 15 lb. spring. I can make a Glock run at a 100 PF or less. kevin c
The load clocked in at 890 fps, putting it at just over 130 PF. When I have the time, I'll push it up to 140 pf at about 950 fps. Like I said, I'm a wimp. My best gorilla grip probably wouldn't get me into a new jar of mayo...
nphd2000
I just experienced this problem last weekend. Haven't shot in 6 months, go out to shoot my g-17 with 128 PF ammo and stock "screen door" recoil spring. Second stage I had 3 times when the round wouldn't chamber from the mag during the course of fire. I thought maybe the heat affected the gun and mags (being plastic and all) Nope, I practiced during the winter with airsoft so I guess a combo of relaxed grip, soft ammo, and stiff re-coil spring led to my malfunctions (with the gun). Once I thought about it I made an effort to stiffen up my grip and I finished the match w/out a hitch.
