sslav
I shot a knockdown steel match this past weekend. After copmletely blowing it on the first stage, my shooting got progressively better. On the last stage I was shooting plate racks when I experienced something really cool. After each shot, my gun would recover with sights alligned neatly in the center of the next plate. I was not "driving" the gun or putting any concious thought into it, it was just happenning on its own. Ok, now the question - how do I bottle this? Overkill
The way you "bottle" it is by learning what difference (probably in grip or hand/arm tension) separates this condition from the condition where the gun recoils back onto target. When you understand the difference you'll gain the power to choose how the gun behaives.
Mick
Just keep doing it! Your body obviously responded to a need in the correct way and delivered a good performance. Go find a plate rack and keep shooting that to be sure it becomes a natural thing.
ima45dv8
You and the gun were following your eyes to the next plate maybe?
