Was wondering if anyone is running the Dawson wide notch rears and how's the sight picture compared to the standard Dawson fixed or the Heinie sights. Shawn Knight Posted March 20, 2007 Share Posted March 20, 2007 I just installed Dawson Fixed sights on my XD. I have the .100 front with the .115 rear. I like the precision I get but my speed suffers slightly. I ordered the .125 wide rear as well. I might put that on a separate gun to see the different between the two. I have to say I wish I had installed the wider sight because the indoor range I shoot at has very poor lighting and the wider rear would have helped me out a lot.
