ErikW Posted June 5, 2002 Share Posted June 5, 2002 Best of the Best match, Reno, June 1, 2002, "Bomb Threat" stage, RO'd by ShooterGrrl and her husband. Took the four targets through the port, dropped a C, took some side targets, made a clean half-step reload, finished up the side targets (Alphas everywhere), opened up the first box. Nothin, as expected. Opened up the second box and retrieved the bomb. Ran to bomb disposal barrel and released bomb, then began hosing the five close targets. Noticed the bomb hit the edge of the barrel and bounced forward and to the right. Removed weak hand from gun, bent over, strong eye on targets, weak eye looking for bomb on ground, strong hand hosing sideways gangsta style. Picked up bomb from ground. Held up the last shot on the last target, dropped bomb in barrel, then fired last shot. Dropped a C on the gangsta transition. It was a really good recovery, but it still hurt.
