It seems to be the cheapest powder right now that will work sub MOA with good bullets. Not what you or I wanted to hear with prices on powder right now. 1911user Posted February 19, 2007 Share Posted February 19, 2007 AA Data Powder 85 is too slow IMO for normal 223 loads and that's why AA doesn't list any. Probably the best "cheap" 223 powder right now is the WCC44 pulldown powder for $80-85 a keg, but that is close enough to new powder pricing that I'd just buy new Ramshot or AA powder instead.
