McNeil
Hey Yall I need a new tripod for my spotting scope, My old rat got stomped. What do the big dogs use when shooting prone? some of the stuff available as "tabletop tripods" are really junky. I use a scope thats huge and its got a straight eyepiece, so its gotto get up alittle higher. -Neil
ihatepickles
I prefer a spotting scope stand designed for highpower competition. I've had the Giraud stand for about 8 years and it's great. Creedmoor makes a nice looking stand too. I have no idea why these stands are so pricey but they're what I like best, tripods are too wide to get right next to my weak eye while in a prone firing position. DMS42
Take a look at the Ewing scope stands. You should be able to find something that you like there. www.scopestands.com
Bill H
I have the one made by Ray-Vin http://www.ray-vin.com and it is an awsome piece. There isn't anything I would change.
HiCapMag
Linkey The Bogen is the poop. If you are only shooting on the flat range, I suppose it is not really necessary, but still good kit.
