D.Hayden Posted December 11, 2006 Share Posted December 11, 2006 One a DPMS, One a JP.. Occasionally, the with the DPMS, the charging handle won't budge when trying to clear the rifle.. JP no problems. I was thinking the DPMS chamber was tighter, but is that true? I've read posts saying the JP is tiohter. Something else I should look at? During a COF, zero problems.. Scout454 Posted December 11, 2006 Share Posted December 11, 2006 Yeah, I've seen it. Particularly with bulk ammo (SA, Wolf, IMI). Some times the cases are a bit long. JP uses a Wilde chamber with a bit more freebore for longer bullets. I believe that DPMS uses a 5.56 NATO chamber. The ammunition will actually shoot out of the rifle but a chambered live round may stick in the chamber. You do run a pressure risk. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
