Overall my M&P out shot my Springfield 1911 9mm today, seems the M&P is more accurate out the box than the springer. Best load today was 3.6 of 231 for the M&P, I will experiment later with a tighter crimp, and maybe different OAL, but it seemed to really like 231. Also CCI 115gr blazers shot better too with a velocity of 1121fps SD was 12.5 ES was 37 PF was 128.9 group at 15 yds was 1.3"

did you think the titegroup felt the best? 231 shot good in my guns, but titegroup seemed to shoot softer, but less accurate.

Didn't notice that much difference in recoil impulse, but then again I was just testing for accuracy and shot over a hundred rounds total.

I have had a similar experience as yours with the springer. Using both plated and jacketed bullets in my S&W 99 and Springfield 1911 I have found that in all cases the shorter barreled S&W 99 outshot my Springfield 1911.

I loaded some accura 147 gr. tmj today with 3.5 grs. of HP-38. Shot out of a Glock-34 with stock barrel, runs averaged 856 fps. It would hold a tight group doing double tap drills. The gun was very controlable with a mild report. I like this load better than the 3.1 charge of titegroup.

FWIW blazer ammo chronos at 139 ish pf in my Stock glock 34 barrel, 132 ish in the Storm lake barrel.. This is the older stuff with a TMJ plated bullet not the newer jacketed stuff.

despite the upper level minor PF, my gun still gets silly malfunctions with that aluminum cased ammo on the last round...(stove pipe)

the 147 grian Titegroup load even at lower PF never did that.
