Ghost Vs. Cr Holster Questions (+ L10 Pouch ?)

I currently use the Blade-Tech DOH for production/steel, but am thinking of getting a CR Belt rigged up for Limited. I have a few questions for the collective experience that this forum offers.

1) How big of a difference in speed does a shooter typically gain going from Kydex to a Ghost or CR type holster?

2) Is there a holster that is convertable between the G35 and the CZ TS .40? (I currently have the G35 but might get a TS since I love my CZ75 SA so much)

3) Is there a general consensus between the Ghost or CR being fundamentally better than the other?

4) Is 4 mag pouches a good number for Limited/L10? (I'm shooting 10 round CA mags)

1. There's hardly any difference.

2. ? I don't think so.

3. It will go half and half. I prefer the ghost.

4. I use 4 but 5 isn't a bad idea.

Try a search. There's a lot of info on ghost vs. CR speed vs. whatever...

+1 on the Ghost holster.

And I use 4 mag pouches for all divisions. You usually start with 1 in the gun, so look at it like 4 + 1.

You can also put 1 or 2 in your back pocket at local matches without worry.

i like the ghost holster also very smooth!! plus for me i shot open also and i can switch guns with out adjusting the holster ie muzzle cup as what is on the cr speed just my 2 cents

1. Not enough of a differences to worry about it.

2. The Safariland 560 is the only one I can think of.

3. I have both and prefer the Ghost for Standard/Limited.

4. Most of us run 5 pouches(we are only allow 10rds per mag) up here. For me it means not having to carry a thick SV mag in my pocket as I start off with one from the pouch.

I have both and think they are both good enough, although the CR seems more secure.
