shooterx10
I'm thinking of purchasing a used SVI pistol. Right now, it's a .40 S&W. Is it possible to put a different top end to shoot another caliber like .38 Super by changing the ejector? What other parts need to be changed if this is possible? BrianH
If it's a .40, you don't have to change anything! .40 uses a .38 ejector. A friend of mine has an STI frame with tops for .38 SuperComp open, .40 limited, .38 Supercomp limited minor and .22 But he just won another STI frame at the Steel Challenge so he's going to put the .22 on that. Ron Ankeny
It's pretty common to see folks shooting a short dust cover .40 for Limited, toss in a .38 Super bushing/barrel and you are set for IDPA ESP.
