I saturate the sight base with loctite, in addition to the screw threads. Basically it glues the sight to the slide as well as locking the screw in, sight removal is easily accomplished by tapping it out after screw removal..... HI5-O Posted November 17, 2006 Author Share Posted November 17, 2006 Hi Nik, Thanks for the input. Our department went to the Glock night sights instead of the Trijicon's due to pricing. I liked the front sights with the screw, much easier to secure. I'm thinking of getting a 1911 front sight staking tool and taking a hammer to them next .
