I've had that happen, I turned back since I needed the mag to complete the CoF and the RO was sleeping so I had to hard stop so he wouldn't be beyond my 180 (he gave me a reshoot since he got caught napping). All's well that ends well, now I leave the tension on my last mag a bit higher than all of the rest. I've also turned corners and the corner didn't make it... For the thread, I have 11 mags. Mags get dirty and trashed at matches, you don't need 11 but I think you need more than 4. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

All go with me to a match, along with the spare gun. Do all I can to thwart Murphy's Law. As a comparison, only have 4 mags for the CZ Standard IPSC all with Taylor Freelance +2's, and in the STI corner my open gun has two 140's and two 170's again with Dawson pads. My STI Hawk only has 3 mags. Methinks time to purchase some more.... Especially for the home-built 6" fat free I'm contemplating... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
