BigDave
Yesterday at a match, albeit a shitty one (mag problems galore) I had a bigtime break through. Funnything is, I didn't realize what I did til almost 24hrs after the fact. On my next to last stage, 32rds, all paper I had 3 mag malfunctions. On the last one, the mag (my last one) dropped and I had to pick it up and reinsert to finish. I had 5 targets left, and I remember 'aw, to hell with it, just rip 10 shots and see what happens'. Did something happen!!! I remember those five targets vividly now. With the skills I have, its ususally two shots, move to next, two shots, etc... This time it was one continuous, flowing, smooth string. 10 shots about as quick as I could manage, 7 A's 3 C's. I don't know what the time was on those last five, and I really don't care. All I know is, I was smokin. I believe this is what Brian refers to as "Driving the Gun". If that is what it is, it is waaaaaaay cool. benos
BD, Nice work! It's funny how we often have to be driven by circumstances to really let go. be
BigDave
i can't say, in retrospect, that I am suprised. i've always found a way to shine when the heat is on. unfortunately, it is not a switch I can flip at will, not yet, anyway.
