Carmoney
I still need to camphor the cylinder holes.I just haven't decided how best to do that. <--------- use one of these devices right here. Took "Lucky" to the range yesterday afternoon. ( rescued 25-2)I forgot to mention, among her other maladies, she has a red ramp front sight with the "red part" missing. It kind of looks like a hang nail. Few things in life are better than winning a match with a beater gun like that!! Well, then I guess Carmoney's right. That's my Nemo. TxD
Got the moon clip holders on Friday. Camphored the chambers Friday night. Took "Lucky" to a match on Saturday. Since we didn't have much time to practice, I decided to try reloads 'Spook" style. Being primarily a bottom feeding production shooter, I occasionally reached behind my left centerline for a mag. This made " Lucky" a little nervous as she knew where I would try to stick that mag had it been there. I also learned that it is impossible to load a fresh moon clip until you eject the old one, and that roof extension I've got on the "tool shed" does a great job of hiding the moon clip holders on my belt. I need to lose some weight or become more egg shaped. At this match, I wasn't the best revolver shooter, but perhaps, most entertaining. I think "Lucky" was a little embarrassed. We're gonna practice hard this week and give it another go next Saturday.
pskys2
That Roof Extension over the Tool Shed just tilts the Moon Clips out for easier access, and allows more room for more clips! Practice is always the best remedy!
