Is it ok to make your own shot shell holders and shoot limited ? I have not seen anything that adresses this as it is my understanding according to the rules your gear has to be worn on the waist, but in 3 gun that is diffrent.

You can use any darned carrier system you want, made any which way you want and worn any which way you want for Limited/Tactical shotgun division as long as you grab the shells from the carrier by hand and stuff them into the shotgun by hand.

So I can't make a chute, worn up my shirt sleave, that places 4 rounds in my hand every time I snap my fingers?

The operative point here is that the shells are pulled from the carrier by hand. The carrier itself must also be passive!

I've made some shell holders out of sheets of ABS plastic. They work well enough.

Wide 45... if it's gravity fed i see no reaso not to

there are a couple of nice designs out there for shot shells but I think the best is still yet to come!
