DJPoLo Posted August 7, 2006 Share Posted August 7, 2006 My Mom (a full-time RV'er) left Austin in early April to spend the summer with family in Connecticut. Before she left, she dug up some bluebonnts along the side of the road and transplanted them in the flower bed in our front yard. A nice touch, I thought, but they'll go to seed and that will be it until next spring. Well, there's something that these flowers like in our north-facing yard because here it is in August and they're still in bloom! This is unheard of and we crack up every time we see these.
