Moving To Open, Any Thoughts?

I'm thinking about moving to Open. Any advice? I've seen some sights for under $100. Could that be? Are any particularly better for a 625? Thoughts?

If you plan to shoot open, try an 8 shot.

Yep, K Frame 38 special with Tasco Pro Point, Prior to the PDP 1,2, or 3's. Also used the 586 Hybrid ports and another Tasco. Did not win but did have fun....

I like the OKO dot. Not the cheapest option but it's very light. There's also some real low profile mounts out there now.

Right now on my eight shooter I use a C-more on a Weigand mount. Not the lightest set-up, but I bought the stuff when I was getting started and didn't know what else was out there.

The great thing about a revolver is that you can always put the iron sights back on... I do this at the PSA, in the morning I shoot Open Revolver, and between matches pull the dot and comp off my eight shooter and put the irons back on. A quick zero and I'm good to go for Stock Revolver.
