AlamoShooter
My mags hit on a few and that can cause it. In a match most of us jam the mag in harder. If the slide is locked back it will / can hit the ejector. Test it by taking off the slide and puting a mag in the frame. But, I may not know nothing Jamie Edited April 24, 2006 by AlamoShooter
.40AET
I just bought a tuned ejector from Brazos. It came with the angles cut and a relief for the bullets/mag to sit under. It needed some minor fitting so the slide could clear it and it was good to go. I just wanted something new to test at the PSA to see if the gun would run at a major match. BamBam
Ejectors should not break. If the same person put both in, and you broke two in 6 months, buy a new ejector and find a new gunsmith to put it in. You should go through barrels faster than ejectors. Some people leave them too long when installed. I like to start with an extended ejector, and cut it back until the tip protrudes only 0.2420" from the base. Maybe the mags are hitting it, maybe its not being given enough clearance from the slide. But something is definately wrong my friend.
