bberkley Posted April 19, 2006 Share Posted April 19, 2006 Well, I had my back surgery for my blown disc at L5-S1 yesterday morning, and spent the night in the hospital. I'm pretty sore, but most of my symptoms that caused me the most discomfort the last 5 weeks are gone. Doc said I had an "enormous" amount of scar tissue around the S1 nerve, said it takes a really long time to get it looking like that. Took him longer to dig it all out, plus he was about as deep as the instruments would go, not much room to work. That being said, I think I was a bit premature in thinking I would miss this week from work, and be back next week. I think I won't be back until after my followup on the 2nd. Which also means I will likely not shoot at all next month. Bummer. But, this is much better than where I was at 5 weeks ago. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
