Flyin40 Posted April 14, 2006 Author Share Posted April 14, 2006 The reason I started this topic was because I just had my gun hardchromed and I'm now seeing places that are shining on the barrel that I didn't see before. Jody Waring Posted April 14, 2006 Share Posted April 14, 2006 In regards to the wear marks on your barrell, my gun is hard chromed and I was getting wear marks on the hood and lug area that were very noticeable. When I lube my Open gun, I lube the whole barrell (except the feed ramp of course) and inside of the slide, I rack the slide a few times and wipe off the excess. I like to use STP engine treatment- the thick stuff or Chainsaw bar oil. Stays in place pretty good Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
