Averaged 167pf in a Springfield 5" 1911-A1 loaded. 3.8 of Clays with the Precision bullet gives me 740. This powder had a strange shooting feel to it. Hard to describe but I didn't like it. Figured loading to max wasn't going to get to a comfortable major so I stopped development. I've got some Trail Boss loaded to try in a S&W 642. We'll see how that goes.
Harmon Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 It made major in my gun. and did not seem to be as dirty as titegroup. I have a post around here with my results.
