Chris Rhines
Looking at a possible job opportunity in Louisville, Kentucky. So of course, the first thing that came to mind was, "How's the shooting?" The job would be in the city proper. Are there any good clubs nearby (prefer outdoor, private clubs without multi-year waiting lists.) Good local matches, especally multi-gun? Hope of hopes, is there any long-range practical rifle stuff around? Thanks, Chris
Airedale
Chris, Come on down! If you live in or near Louisville, you'll be able to shoot every weekend (some weekends both days) within an hour or less. The Ky Sectional is minutes from L'ville and the Ky State 3 gun is ~2 hours away near Owensboro. This is a great area for USPSA shooters and not too bad for 3 gun. We also have Aikidale's world famous steel match and a quarterly ICORE match. Many of the clubs are at www.practicalshooters.com Dave

Kimberkid
Yea, I imagine if you look around real hard you might find a match or 2 If you are willing to drive 1 hour, you wont ever have a free saturday or sunday. Ever. Just about the best group of guys you could ever ask to shoot with. I drive 5 hours 1 way several times a year to hang out for the weekend and shoot. Every trip has been more than worth the gas and hotel room.
