bw31 Posted January 29, 2006 Share Posted January 29, 2006 I am going to buy one of Brazo's tuned stainless steel slide stops for my STI Edge. What sort of fitting am I going to have to do? shred Posted January 29, 2006 Share Posted January 29, 2006 Tuned? Bob? There's two parts to a slide stop, one obvious one and one not obvious. The obvious one is the part that locks the slide back. That needs to be cut so loaded rounds don't poke it up at inopportune times, and if you're into that, so that the follower does lock it back. The unobvious part is the link and barrel feet are fit to the pin part of the slide stop. Pins are available in different diameters and if you get the wrong one, you could be in for a bad time.
