Chuck Anderson
I picked up a Nowlin 45 comp and wanted to build a 45 carry comp gun. I wanted to keep the 5" overall length. The comp is 1.45" long. Looks like I need to use an Officers model slide. What do I need to do, or is it even possible to use this slide on a Gov't model frame? LPatterson
Have you given any thought to what it would be like to shoot a comp gun is a close retention position. A Detonics Combat Master held close shortened my eyebrows.
Chuck Anderson
Yep, I about lost an eye to a Glock 19C. It's more as a toy than anything else.

tightloop
I have a 2 port comp on my commander slide, makes it just over 5" and a good length for me...and NO, it isn't bad to shoot...
open17
Yes, an Officers slide will fit a standard full size frame. Just tried it and it worked.
